22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

MESSAGE: – Open Heaven 10 October 2020 Saturday Daily Devotional
It is human nature to worry about personal welfare and that of our loved ones, but as Christians, this should not be our lifestyle because God has told us to be anxious about nothing (Philippians 4:6).
Fear reaches deep into our consciousness, making it very difficult to shake off. When anyone allows it, the door to stress becomes open, leading the way for many diseases, some of which can become fatal.
Today’s Bible reading tells us how God wants us to live – worry-free. He wants us to rest in the knowledge that He is in charge.
“Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:” – Matthew 6:27-28

Can you answer the question above? Can you add one inch to your height by worrying? The answer is NO. If you cannot change the situation by worrying, why not put that energy into praying and getting rest from the presence of God?
I was only thirty-nine years old when I became the General Overseer of the RCCG. One day, while combing my hair, I noticed some grey strands and asked “Lord why am I having grey hair?” He replied “Are you not the one who is always worried about the Church? it is my Church, stop worrying,” from that day, I left everything in His hands. The grey strands of the hair disappeared and the Church has been matching forward a lot faster than when I was worrying. My anxiety added nothing to the Church but my surrendering to God added everything.
Worrying magnifies the problem because what you focus on will always get bigger. From now, focus on God, on His omnipotence and very soon, you will see the end of that problem.
Nothing is too difficult for God to handle (Jeremiah 32:27). Turn over all your cares to Him today and He will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19).

Yes this is exactly what happened in my place o work. I have been the head of my department for some year now and some newly employed staff came and ganged against me to remove me from the sit . Well I was not worried at all. Some of my colleagues tried to talk sense into me so that I can fight back. I said no, and I was rejoicing and praising God. One thing I discovered was inside I was not perturbed in any way -that is I was free inside. What I did was to put everything to prayers and I went home to relax. After few weeks they started having problems among themselves and some came to me to confess what was going on among themselves . To the glory of God they could all were exposed and put to shame. It is true never to worry about life. It is our God that Has the key to everything . He wants us to recognise Him at all time and put totally all things to His care. Praise God.
