Open Heavens 13 September 2025 Saturday – Run With The Vision
MEMORISE: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Joel 2:28
READ: Numbers 14:1-9 Open Heavens13 September 2025
1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens13 September 2025 Saturday Daily Devotional
In today’s memory verse, God promised that He would pour out His Spirit in the last days, and old men will dream dreams while the young men will see visions. Whether you are old or young, God wants you to do exploits with His Spirit that lives in you.
When God gives you a vision, He expects you to run with it. You may encounter obstacles, but you must see beyond them. For example, in Numbers 13 and 14, Moses sent 12 spies to search the Promised Land and bring him a report. The 12 spies returned with giant grapes to show that the land was indeed flowing with milk and honey; however, ten of them complained that there were giants in the land. Caleb and Joshua, who had a clear vision of God’s promise, said, “We saw what you saw with our physical eyes, but if this land eats up its inhabitants, then there would be no people there. God gave us the vision, and He will help us take the land. Let’s go ahead and possess the land.” The Bible says in Numbers 32:11-12 that while all the children of Israel in that generation perished, only Joshua and Caleb made it to the Promised Land.
Beloved, the vision God has given to you will sustain you and prolong your days. No matter your age, if you can still see what God wants you to see clearly and are ready to pursue it, He will ensure that He keeps you alive and in good shape. Abraham was 75 years old when God called him to go to a land He would show him (Genesis 12:1-4). Because he was willing to run with this vision, God kept him alive until he was 175 years old (Genesis 25:7-8).
If God has given you a vision, run with it; do not give in to any obstacle. Also, do not run ahead of God, as this will only lead you into trouble. Habakkuk 2:3 says, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” This means that you need patience to run with the vision God has given you (Hebrews 12:1). This way, you will not make hasty and rash decisions as you pursue the vision. I pray that you will fulfil every vision that God has given to you, in Jesus’ name.
Key Point – Open Heavens 13 September 2025
If God has given you a vision, run with it.
Open Heavens 13 September 2025 Saturday Commentary
Hallelujah.
Our topic for today once more says run with the vision. Beloved, in today’s study, we are reminded that God desires every one of his children, whether young or old, to walk in the power of his divine vision. This reveals to us that no matter your age, there is something God still wants you to accomplish for his glory. Vision is the compass of life. Vision is what gives you the motivation to keep pushing daily. Without it, people stumble. Without vision, people simply just waste time. Without vision, people perish. But with it, men and women become unstoppable forces in the hand of God. Today, the Lord is reminding us to receive his vision, to run with it, and to trust him through any obstacle or challenges that we may face along the way until his vision for our lives are fulfilled. Hallelujah.
We are made to understand also from today’s study that there is great power backing God’s vision. When God has given to you a vision, we learned from today’s study that it will keep you alive, God will strengthen you, he will sustain you even when others fall away. He will grant you sufficient grace to pull through for that vision. So, we can see that for every assignment, every vision that God has given to you, there’s a supporting and commensurate measure of grace allocated to it. He will not give you a vision and stop you abruptly halfway. Joshua and Caleb, like we see in today’s study, could only enter into the promised land because they saw and held tightly to the vision God gave them irrespective of the challenges they faced. They did not let the obstacles to blind their vision. Instead, they saw God’s promise as bigger than any giant in the land they were going to possess. Do not let intimidation or fear of tomorrow, the fear of not knowing what tomorrow holds to keep you away from pursuing and fulfilling the vision that God has given to you. If Abraham was trying to understand the entire journey of his life from the moment when God called him to leave his father’s house, he probably would not have taken any step.
All that he did was to simply obey God and to take the step of faith. My dear brothers and sisters, what vision has God given to you? What has he revealed to you? And why are you delaying? Why are you yet to fulfil it? As long as you embrace that vision, he is going to keep you. He’s going to sustain you. He’s going to enable you to pull through. He never starts a thing only to end it halfway. He never leaves you hanging. He never leaves you stranded. He never disappoints. Today’s study reveals to us also that obstacles are a part of the journey. Sadly, many believers today have conditioned their minds subconsciously to think that the journey must be a smooth ride all through. And like the children of Israel, the moment they encounter challenges, they want to turn back immediately. They forget God’s promises; they refuse to hold on to them. We are made to understand today that every God-given vision will face opposition. The presence of obstacles is not a sign that the vision is false. It is a sign that the vision is real. As Satan will always fight whatever threatens his kingdom.
The enemy does not have time for non- entities. He only attacks what he knows has a bright future. The Israelites saw giants. They saw world cities. They saw a fierce army. Yet Joshua and Caleb saw opportunities. They saw a chance for God to reveal his glory. So, you too, beloved, must see beyond the barriers. So that where others see impossibilities, you must see the faithfulness of the one who has called you. It is important for us to also note that there are two dangerous extremes on this journey of fulfilling God’s vision for our lives. The first that we must be careful of is that of delays or discouragements. Those that make people to abandon the assignment halfway. Refuse to give up too soon. God has not brought you thus far to abandon you. Hallelujah. The other extreme that we must be very careful about is that of running ahead of God. Sometimes you want to help yourself. Sometimes you think God is too slow, but he is not. Scripture makes us understand that everything will happen at the appointed time. That vision is for an appointed time. And we’re made to understand that though it t we should wait for it because it will definitely come. It will surely come. God will not lie to us. He cannot deceive us. Our God has integrity, and he will always remain true to his word and his promise.
Let us now see how we can run faithfully with the vision that God gives to us. We can run faithfully with this vision by first writing it down. God told Habakkuk to write the vision plainly. Put it before your eyes. Let it guide your daily decisions. Also learn to pray over it. Commit the vision continually into God’s hands. Ask him for wisdom. Ask him for the understanding of divine timing and for divine provisions. Also take the steps of faith. Remember that vision without action is me daydreaming. So, like Abraham, step out even if you do not yet know all the details of what God has called you to do. Rest upon his promises that he is there holding your hands every step of the way. Also learn to persevere through obstacles. Giants will show up, but God’s power will always surmount them. Also, learn to wait for God’s appointed time. Patience is not weakness. Patience is trust in God’s perfect timing. Many have tried to rush God’s calendar and have ended up as casualties. Do not be like one of them.
Beloved, I would like us at this point to bow our heads and just appreciate the Lord. Say, “Father, thank you for the gift of divine vision. Thank you because you have called us to purpose fulfillment. Thank you because we have not been called just to exist. Thank you for the privilege of fulfilling our purposes here on earth. Lord we are grateful in the name of Jesus. Now ask the Lord today say Lord please open my eyes to see clearly the vision you have for my life in the name of Jesus. Ask the Lord today. Say, “Father, without guesswork, help me to see clearly what you have called me to, the vision you have for me, the purpose you have for me. Reveal to me, oh Lord, in the name of Jesus.” Now ask the Lord today, say, “Father, give me faith also to see beyond every obstacle that stands before me in the name of Jesus. Help me, oh Lord, to see the glorious side. Help me oh Lord to put before me the promise you have made for me that no obstacle will shut my faith down in the name of Jesus. Now ask the Lord also say Lord please deliver me from the fear that makes men to abandon their vision. The fear that makes men to start and not to finish. Say Lord please deliver me from it in the name of Jesus. Deliver me from the fear that even stops men that hinders men from starting at all. Lord delivers me from it in the name of Jesus.
Ask the Lord today. Say, “Father, help me that as I run with my vision, I will reach the very end in the name of Jesus.” Ask him for patience, the patience to wait for the appointed time for the fulfillment of that vision. Let it be granted onto us today in the name of Jesus. Say, “Father, help me to wait patiently until I receive instructions from you. Let me not attempt to run ahead of you in the name of Jesus.” Ask the Lord today for the grace to walk hand in hand with him as he leads us along the way in the name of Jesus. Why not come against every power that may be contending against our visions? Say in the name of Jesus, every of such powers be destroyed. Be destroyed. Be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
Ask the Lord today, Father, please keep me alive, keep me strong until I fulfil every divine assignment you have given me in Jesus’ name. Let me remain strong and healthy and let all grace abound unto me for the fulfilment of my assignment in the name of Jesus. We have prayed earlier that the Lord would help us not to run ahead of him. Also ask the Lord today say father please help me not to lag behind in the timeline that you have for me in the fulfilment of my divine purpose in Jesus name. Help me Lord not to be too slow. Help me Lord not to drag my feet. Help me to answer promptly to every move and every instruction you give me in Jesus’s name. Ask the Lord today. Say, “Father, let the vision you have given me bring glory to your name. And let it bring blessings to my generation and even many generations after me in the name of Jesus. Let it bless men. Let it bless nations. Let it bless continents in the name of Jesus.” Begin to bless the name of the Lord and thank him for answers to prayers. Just worship him. Father, we are grateful. Thank you for hearing and answering us. In Jesus’ name we have prayed. Amen.

Open Heavens 13 September 2025 Saturday Hymn
HYMN 12: Onward Christian Soldiers!
1 Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!
Christ, the royal Master,
leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
see his banner go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!
2 At the sign of triumph
Satan’s host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers,
on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver
at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices,
loud your anthems raise!
3 Like a mighty army
moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading
where the saints have trod;
We are not divided;
all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine,
one in charity.
4 Onward, then, ye people,
join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices
in the triumph song;
Glory, laud, and honor,
unto Christ the King;
This thro’ countless ages
men and angels sing.
5 Onward, then, ye people!
Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor
Unto Christ, the King;
This through countless ages
Men and angels sing.
