26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

As I conclude this series, I want you to know that you can also be refilled spiritually through the Holy Communion. In John 6:48-51, Jesus said, “If you eat My flesh, you are eating the bread of life.” In other words, He was saying, “The bread of life is My body.” When you eat the body of Christ, you are eating a body that is full of virtue and the anointing of the Holy Spirit; you are taking all that virtue into yourself. If you take the Holy Communion worthily, there is no way your spiritual battery won’t be recharged. When the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, He said that virtue had gone out of Him (Mark 5:25-34). When you eat the bread, you are eating virtue because it symbolizes the body of Christ.
The wine of the Holy Communion, which symbolizes the blood of Jesus, contains the very life of Jesus (Leviticus 17:11). Colossians 2:9 says, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Therefore, taking His life into you by drinking the wine of the Holy Communion is taking in the fullness of the Godhead into yourself, provided you drink the wine worthily.
In ancient Yorubaland, if traditional medicine men were consulted to heal people who were really sick and were at the point of death, they would usually ask the relatives of the dying fellow to bring his or her clothes and an effigy that represents him or her, among some other things. They would then wear the fellow’s clothes on the effigy and take it to the centre of the town very late at night. If someone else sees the effigy as he or she is passing by, the sick fellow would live, and the one who saw the effigy will die. The elders would say that the life of the fellow who came out at night to see what he or she shouldn’t have seen has been substituted for the life of the dying fellow. This is an attempt of the devil to copy God’s principle of substitution.
Beloved, when you take the Holy Communion worthily, your weaknesses are taken away, and you receive the strength of Christ. You receive His life and substitute all your weaknesses for His unending, limitless power. Eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood regularly; He will recharge your spiritual battery and provide you with the strength and power to fulfil His purpose for your life.

Hallelujah.
Yesterday we studied the sixth part of the topic always refill where we learned yet another powerful way of recharging our spiritual batteries through praying in the spirit. We learned from that study that when we pray in the spirit, we are speaking the language of heaven and that by praying in the spirit we are praying God’s will. We learned from that study that praying in the spirit charges us up and helps us to remain on fire for God. As flies hate to perch on hot stoves, we also learned that when we pray in the spirit, we become energized and our spiritual ferveny and sensitivity is increased. Today we have the last and the final part of the topic always refill the part seven of it. And we learned from today’s study that we can also be refilled spiritually through the holy communion. Hallelujah.
While explaining the power in the body of our lord Jesus Christ, our father and the lord tells us the story of the woman with the issue of blood and her encounter with the body of our lord Jesus Christ. We know that story very well. It can be found in the book of Mark 5 25-34. I’ll just read verse 28 29 and 30. Mark 5:28-30 reads, “For she said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up. And she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him turned him about in the press and said, “Who touched my clothes?” Hallelujah. We see from that story that 12 years of that terrible plague came to an end by simply touching the garments of our Lord Jesus Christ. And here we are today talking about not just touching his garment but eating and partaking of his body. Hallelujah
If the woman with the issue of blood touched just the helm of his garment and a 12 year plague came to an instant stop, what do you think can happen when we partake of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ? We will be taking his body into ours and from the little I understand about biology; I know that it would become a part of us. His body becomes a part of us. So dear brothers and sisters, the body of Christ is no ordinary meal. The body of Christ carries the virtue of Christ. We can see for example after that the woman with the issue of blood touched the helm of our Lord Jesus’s garment that in Mark 5:30 scripture tells us and Jesus immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him turned him about in the press and said who touched my clothes? So, virtue always flows from the body of the Lord. Hallelujah.
We also learn powerful lessons today about the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and its significance for us today as we partake of it in the communion. Today’s study reveals to us expressly that the life of a thing is in the blood. And we can see this in Leviticus 17:1 which our father and the Lord talked about in the devotional for today. It reads in part, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.” So, we can safely say that since the life of a thing is in the blood, when we partake in the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, we take in his life into us. So, what cannot hurt Christ, what cannot affect him should not affect us.
Therefore, our existence here on earth should be as though Christ was the one living literally here on earth. However, all of these that we have discussed come with a very important condition. We only get the virtue from the body of Christ and his life from his blood when we partake of the communion worthily. We also learned from today’s study that partaking of the holy communion worthily gives room for the exchange of our weaknesses for Christ’s strength. When we partake of the communion worthily, an exchange takes place. He takes everything in us that is not of him and replaces them with all that he has bought for us through his sacrifice for us on the cross. When we partake of the communion worthily, there is a Passover for us. There is an exemption from evil for us. Our battles are fought, and we have the victory even without a fight. We become more than conquerors. Hallelujah.
Today I’d like us to bow our heads and just appreciate the Lord telling him, “Father, thank you for your sacrifice on the cross for the price he paid to give us the benefits of the holy communion which today ensures that we are no longer weak. We are no longer at the mercy of the enemy. Appreciate the Lord. Say, “Father, we are grateful in Jesus’ name.” Now ask the Lord today that as we partake of the communion from today hence forth that he’ll grant us the grace to experience all the blessings available in it in Jesus’ name. That as we eat the body of Christ, we will receive his virtue. That as we partake of the cup of his blood that we will receive his life into us. And that there would be a substitution of anything that is not of him in our lives for the better in Jesus’ name. I would like us to also appreciate the Lord for the series which he has led us through. Ask him today to say, “Father, please let my spiritual fire never go down. Let me always remain burning. Let me constantly remain filled with the Holy Spirit. Let my spiritual batteries never go down. Let me always remain fully charged at all times in the name of Jesus.” Begin to give the Lord thanks. Father, we appreciate you. Thank you for hearing and answering us. In Jesus’ name we have prayed. Amen.
