Message: – Open Heavens 18 September 2026 Friday Daily Devotional

In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus spat on the eyes of a blind man, laid His hand on him and asked if he could see. The blind man looked up and said that he saw men as trees, walking. Someone else would have been content with this miracle – at least the blind man could now see. However, Jesus touched the man a second time, and he began to see properly. That is a good example of how the anointing is meant to flow through the life of the anointed.

Elisha was another fellow whom the anointing permeated every part of his life, such that even his dried bones still raised the dead, long after he had died. I have seen some anointed individuals build thriving ministries, but upon closer inspection of their lives, you will discover that other aspects of their lives are not experiencing the same level of growth. This ought not to be so.

Beloved, if you get anointed by God in one area of your life, and you notice that another area of your life is not flourishing as it should, please ask God for an all-round anointing that will permeate every area of your life. Do not be satisfied with being anointed in just one area of your life; seek that God’s anointing should permeate all areas of your life.

Many years ago, a man invited me to his home in Houston, Texas. After I left, he sat in the chair I occupied during my visit and prayed. Within a few days, he received the miracle he asked God for when he prayed. He told his friends what happened, and they all began to come to his house to sit on the same chair and pray. When they all received the miracles they asked God for, news spread quickly, and many more people began to visit the man’s home. The man became frustrated by the crowd of people, so he took the chair into his bedroom and placed an identical chair in its place. He thought that people would stop coming when they pray and do not receive any miracles. However, people continued to troop into his home, praying and receiving miracles. What the man didn’t know was that the anointing did not stop on the chair; it went right into the floor the chair was on.

Beloved, seek to be anointed by God and ask that the anointing should permeate every area of your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 18 September 2026 – Permeating Anointing

1. Father, I thank You for the anointing that flows from Your throne and for the promise that You will perfect that which concerns me. Thank You for Your mercy that endures forever, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every time I have been content with partial anointing, neglected areas of my life that need Your touch, or allowed stagnation in any area of my existence, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let Your anointing permeate every area of my life—my spirit, soul, body, finances, marriage, career, ministry, and relationships—just as the anointing on Elisha’s bones raised the dead, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, I pray for an all-round anointing that will not leave any area of my life barren or unfruitful. Let every aspect of my life experience Your supernatural touch, in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, just as Jesus touched the blind man a second time for complete sight, touch me again in every area where I have only experienced partial breakthroughs. Let me receive complete and perfect miracles, in Jesus’ name.

6. Lord, I pray that the anointing upon my life will be so strong that it will affect everything I touch and everywhere I go. Let Your power flow through me to heal, deliver, and restore, in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, I pray against every spirit of stagnation and limitation in my life. Let Your anointing breaks every yoke and cause every area of my life to flourish, in Jesus’ name.

8. Lord, I pray for everyone who is anointed in one area but struggling in another. Let Your anointing permeate every area of their lives and bring complete wholeness, in Jesus’ name.

9. Father, I receive the grace to seek You for an all-round anointing. Let me not settle for less than what You have for me. Let Your anointing overflow in my life, in Jesus’ name.

10. My personal prayer point: (Mention specific areas of your life where you need the anointing to permeate—health, finances, marriage, ministry, career—and ask God for complete transformation).

11. Thank You, Father, for the assurance that You will perfect that which concerns me. I receive the permeating anointing today, and every area of my life shall flourish, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
