MEMORISE: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11
READ: Psalms 77:13-20 Open Heavens 26 August 2025
13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
15 Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.
18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Bible In One Year: Ezekiel 9-12

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 26 August 2025 Tuesday Daily Devotional
In Daniel 6:27, the king said, “There is no God like the God of Daniel who rescued him from the den of lions. He does wonders.” Moses and the Israelites sang the words in today’s memory verse to testify of God’s wonders after He delivered them from the Egyptians. They had been camped before the Red Sea, and the mighty Egyptian army came in pursuit of them to take them back into slavery. They had nowhere to go, but God instructed Moses to lift his rod over the sea, and suddenly, it parted for them to walk through to the other side on dry ground.
They got to the other side and looked behind them to see the Egyptian army, who had pursued them into the midst of the sea, drowning in the same waters that parted for them. If you were there on that day, you would not need to be told that God is indeed a God of wonders.
God does things that make people marvel. I once travelled abroad, and when I landed at the airport, I didn’t see a particular son of mine whom I was so sure would be among those who came to welcome me. I asked about him and was told that he was dying at a hospital.
I said, “Let’s stop by the hospital.” When we got there, we were led into a room where terminally ill patients – those whom the doctors had labelled as ‘sure to die’ – were kept. Patients who go into that room usually don’t come out alive. My son had a PSA (something in the body that doctors use to diagnose cancer) over 4,000! The normal PSA in a man’s body is supposed to be less than 10.
When it approaches 100, the doctors suspect cancer, and when it gets to 300, the cancer is diagnosed as terminal. In that country, you are not allowed to pray for anybody who doesn’t request your prayers, so even though there were many people in that room with my son, I prayed for only him and left. It was on a Saturday, and by Wednesday, he had been discharged from the hospital. However, the greater wonder was that everybody in that room when I went in there was also discharged on the same day.
Beloved, if you’re reading this and the world has concluded that there is no hope for you concerning some situations in your life, the God of wonders will surprise them, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heavens 26 August 2025 Tuesday Commentary
Hallelujah.
Our topic for today once more is wonderful part two. Yesterday we saw the part one of the topic “WONDERFUL” and we learned from that study that everything about our God is wonderful. We learned that his works are wonderful. We learned that his testimonies are also wonderful. We learned that his knowledge is wonderful and that his counsel is wonderful. That you can never find a better advisor than the Almighty God.
In yesterday’s study, our father and the Lord told us the story of how God miraculously expanded a bridge where his vehicle and an oncoming vehicle had to cross that same narrow bridge at the same time. Only our God who is full of wonders can do such a thing. Today we have before us the second part of the topic. Wonderful. You would agree with me that from Genesis to Revelation, scripture repeatedly shows us that our God does things that leave men in awe. He makes a way where there is no way. He raises the dead when all hope is gone. He turns the irreversible around to become a possibility. The mighty power of our God to do wonders is beyond our comprehension. But today we will attempt to learn more about our God who does wonders without numbers.
One of the clearest displays of God’s wonders is in the area of deliverance. Our God can deliver a man from any situation in life. Whether that man is at the lowest point of life. Our God can pull him out, deliver him, cleanse him, change and transform his life into a wonder. You remember Daniel? Daniel was cast into the den of lions. Yet in that den of lions, God did not forget him. The decree of men had already been sealed. Death was inevitable in their own minds. Yet our God, who is wonderful. He shut the mouth of lions. The king himself, who was a pagan ruler, confessed that there is no God like the God of Daniel. How about the Israelites which our father and the Lord talked about in today’s devotional? You can imagine getting to the Red Sea and seeing that there is no way forward. There’s nothing you can do. You cannot swim across the Red Sea. Destruction seemed to be right at the corner. But our God, who is full of wonders, also pulled them through. He rescued them. He did a great work of engineering, constructing a highway for them in the middle of a sea in record time. He did not stop there. He collapsed everything within the twinkling of an eye. That same road that delivered his children out of destruction became the burying place for the enemies of his children. It is my prayer that the Lord, our wonderful God, would visit every stubborn enemy of yours who has refused to repent in Jesus’ name.
From this same story of the children of Israel at the Red Sea, we can learn that the God of wonders has the power to deliver you from situations where men have written you off. That story reveals to us that no prison is too secure. The enemies of God’s children could not keep them in Egypt when God had decided to let them go. It also reveals to us that no enemy is too strong. Egypt’s army was no joke at that time. Yet God rescued his children from them. When you consider the story which our father in the Lord also tells us in today’s study about that son of his who had a terminal sickness, and the doctors were expecting him to die but God showed up. It reveals to us that there is no condition that is too terminal when God decides to intervene. And the same way God did not only heal that man, but he healed everyone in that same room at that time. It is my prayer for you today that when God would show up for you, that testimony would not only be shared by you, but others would also follow to testify of his wondrous works in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, perhaps the world has concluded that there is no hope for you. You know, there’s a way that some people can settle in their minds certain situations about you even without you knowing. They may be thinking, hm, can anything good come out of this one? But dear brothers and sisters, never forget that the God we serve delights in surprising men. That is why Psalm 126:1 says that when the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. His wonders make testimonies look like dreams. It is my prayer that this would also be your own testimony in Jesus’ name. Now that we have learned that our God is the God of wonders, it is expected of us that we believe in his power. Do not limit God with your doubts. Forget about how he will make it happen. You just trust him. Learn to also always praise God. Some people wait to see divine intervention before they praise him. But you don’t have to praise God even while you are still trusting him. and you would see him move mightily in your situation. Hallelujah.
When last did you tell someone about God’s wonders. Testify of his wonders. When God works in your life, share it so that others may put their trust in him. Also learn to fix your gaze on him. Scripture says he daily loads us with benefits. So, expect from him daily. Live with the mindset and the expectations of his divine interventions at all times. I would like us at this point to bow our heads and just appreciate the Lord. Say, “Father, thank you for being the God of wonders.” Just appreciate the Lord. Worship him and bless his name. Now ask the Lord today. Say, “Father, please do wonders in my life that will silence every enemy of my destiny in the name of Jesus.” Ask the Lord today. Say, “Father, do that which only you can do. Do that which will leave men in awe. Showcase your mighty power in my life and through my life in the name of Jesus. Ask the Lord to say, “Father, let the world see your wonders in my family, in my life, in my work, in all that concerns me. And let it testify that you are God.” In the name of Jesus, let my life be a signboard of your goodness. Let it be obvious for all to see that you are a true and dependable father in the name of Jesus. Begin to bless the name of the Lord and thank him for answers to prayers. Father, we are grateful. Thank you for hearing us when we call. In Jesus’ name we have prayed.
Amen.
Open Heavens 26 August 2025 Tuesday Hymn
Hymn 18: Praise To the Lord the Almighty
1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
join me in glad adoration.
2 Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
sent by his gracious ordaining?
3 Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
if with his love he befriends you.
4 Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.
